Dear Mrs. Clean,
My maroon-colored bathroom wall has stains that I suspect has been brought about by the heavy chlorine content of my deep-well water source. I have tried cleaning it with cleansers, muriatic acid/water (at 1 is to 3) formulation and all other detergents, to no avail. When water or any liquid is applied, the discoloration disappears, BUT as soon as it dries up, its back again. The stain is white in color and very visible.
I'm desperate and needs your help badly.
Thank you.

I am a resident of Silver Springs, MD. I am in the Philippines right now on holiday.
Please note that my bathroom wall is made of ceramic tiles.
Thank you.

It sounds like you might have used some sort of abrasive cleaner on the tiles and it has removed the finish and/or sealant which makes the ceramic tiles "shiny". I would recommend to never use any abrasive cleaners on ceramic tiles.
Is that the case?

I probably did apply some abbrasive. Is it a hopeless case then? Is there a way I can get its "luster" back or just get the "white stain" out, without having to undergo an expensive re-tiling job?
Thank you.

I would try getting one of those spray on ceramic finishes and test on only one tile before you go and spray the whole area.
1. purchase a can of spray on ceramic finishes
2. tape of the area around a single tile
3. spray that single tile
4. hope for the best
