I have some problems with my kitten. We haven't yet had him fixed and he's spraying everything he can get to. Thankfully we live in military housing and all my floors are tile so there's no issues there, but some of the items around the house aren't as easy to clean. Mad

Things like my wicker laundry baskets, my husband's wet weather gear, and his duffel bags are the things I'm having the most trouble with. The laundry baskets I can throw away if there is no way to get the smell and stain out, but my husband's gear is not so easy. It's that water resistant type of material. I have tried washing it in the washing machine, but the smell is still there.

Any tips? Your help will be very much appreciated.

Hello nique517 and Welcome to Mrs. Clean's Forum!

You have a large problem that can only be solved by getting the kitty fixed, but in the meantime we can try to help you out with the items already "damaged".

There are products available that claim to work on all three components of urine. One that was recommended highly was urine-off. One way to spot urine stains is with a black light. It will show all the places in the house that your kitty has marked. The makers of "urine-off" claim that after you use the product, it will not show up under black light, it will totally be gone! You can visit their website at www.urine-off.com.
Another recommendation is Diaper pure.
If you would like more information on cat urine stain/odor removal, visit our web page for complete information at http://www.mrscleannw.com/tips/pet-stains-odor.html

Hopefully these products will do the trick! Good Luck!
