You should have one for your whites, your darks, your jeans, your delicates, your towels and so on. As the laundry comes down to the laundry area, you need to sort the laundry right into the basket. In fact, you can teach your kids (and even your husband believe it or not!) to do this.

• Keep the fabrics organized. If you are washing lightweight things, wash with just those. If you are doing heavy products, all should be the same.
